MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE: To deliver portfolio of projects to drive Business Effectiveness services to flydubai business units concerning productivity improvement, process optimization and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manages the collation of KPI framework (at agreed intervals), in conjunction with FP&A for business units to track business performance against goals and develops action plans to address gaps.
  • Executes cross-functional improvement projects and initiatives to ensure that business strategies and objectives are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Executes business improvement projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Support and participate in the delivery of specific aspects of strategy planning workshops aimed at developing, refining, and aligning business unit strategic direction.
  • Collaborates with HR to bring specialist process knowledge and understanding of core business processes to reviews job description interdependencies and highlight role overlaps, gaps, if any.
  • Supports evaluation of business CAPEX approvals and ascertain assumptions linked to benefits realization are measurable and appropriate to justify investments.
  • Manages corporate KPI for select account areas and continually identify opportunities for departmental process improvements and efficiencies and manage efforts to implement these changes.
  • Applies data and performance metrics to assess existing processes and provides recommendations for improvements in coordination with the team.
  • Manages stakeholders and account head relationships to ensure buy-in and alignment on business effectiveness initiatives.
  • Supports the evaluation and delivery of confidential ad-hoc project requests from CEO / Chief’s i.e., Investment opportunities, Make-Buy decisions, Insourcing opportunities etc.
  • Supports corporate innovation agenda by defining processes which would benefit from leading edge approaches and collaborate with IT to assess business benefits, drive implementation and ensure benefits realization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
  • Degree in Engineering, Commerce or any discipline and MBA or currently pursuing master's degree
  • Fluent in English
  • Minimum 8 years in the hospitality, airline or travel industry would be preferred.
  • Gen AI, BI Tools, RPA experience and MS Project
  • Years with qualifications: 8 - 10 years

ISR Requirements: Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
