Manager - Customer Service - Container Freight Station - Mundra

India

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales and commercial strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify and onboard new clients, including shipping lines, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and repeat business.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide market intelligence and insights.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial terms with clients.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Prepare periodic sales forecasts, performance reports, and management presentations.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through regular engagement and issue resolution.
  • Support sales team to grow volume from onboarded customers
  • Take ownership of customer issues & resolve. Coordination with GSC Team

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10–12 years of experience in sales/commercial roles within logistics, CFS, or port-related services.
  • Strong understanding of the CFS business model, supply chain dynamics, and shipping industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
