Job description

Min 5 years in related field.

CA/ACCA Qualified, Hands on knowledge of IFRS, ERP and Tax.

Position Summary

Under executive direction, the purpose of the job is to perform highly complex accounting work according to generally accepted accounting principles, established procedures, departmental guidelines, and regulatory requirements applicable to the work. An employee in this job classification functions in a management capacity to supervise accounting professionals, and entry level accounting and support staff to ensure the accomplishment of assigned functions according to established schedules, calendars, projects, and programs of the department. Work includes researching and collecting highly complex data, preparing clear and concise financial reports, and monitoring expenditures and revenues of assigned divisions and/or departments. Performs related work as directed.

TOR’s

• Oversee financial management operations including cash management, fixed asset management, accounts payable management and monthly financial closing and finalization of annual statutory cyclic audits.
• Ensure proper recording of transactions in line with the budget and seek approval for unbudgeted transactions prior to processing payments.
• Provides technical accounting support and interpretation to management. Preparing financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts.
• Assess operational and financial risks by reviewing system processes and ensure compliance with local laws, legal and develop implement internal controls.
• Provide active support to the operation team in developing strategies and controls to rationalize expenses. Authorize sign off and manage timely reconciliations.
• Responsible to ensure management of Cash, inventory, fixed assets count follows rigorously the established internal controls and ensures compliance as per policies procedures.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to meet deadline, prioritize work and work under pressure.

Has sound experience of similar related work with reputed organizations dealing with multiple domains.
