Manager - Finance & Administration (Unit Finance Controller)

Job Location: Kovalam, Trivandrum

CTC: Max: 1.75 lakhs per month

Reporting to: GM

Position Title: Manager-F & A [Unit Finance Controller]

Position Overview:

To oversee, manage, and control all financial and accounting operations of the resort,

ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, maintaining financial discipline, supporting

revenue growth, cost efficiency, and providing accurate, timely financial insights for

strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management & Control

 Prepare, monitor, and control annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

 Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance

Sheet, Cash Flow).

 Implement effective financial controls to safeguard resort assets.

 Manage working capital & cash flow

2. Accounts Operations

 Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, payroll, and

inventories.

 Ensure statutory compliance (GST/VAT, TDS, income tax, service tax, etc.).

 Monitor receivables & payables, ensuring timely collections and payments.

3. Audit & Compliance

 Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors.

 Ensure adherence to company policies and financial reporting standards.

 Implement risk management and internal control measures.

4. Business & Revenue Support

 Work closely with Sales & Operations to optimize revenue and profitability.

 Monitor cost structures (F&B, Rooms Division, Spa, Banquets, etc.) to maximize

GOP (Gross Operating Profit).

5. Team Leadership & Development

 Lead, train, and develop/mentor the Finance & Accounts team.

 Build cross-functional collaboration with operations for financial awareness.

Skills & Competencies Required;

 Strong knowledge of hospitality finance systems (e.g., Opera PMS, Micros etc]

 Deep understanding of hospitality P&L and cost structures.

 Analytical and strategic thinking.

 Leadership and team management.

 Excellent communication with internal stateholders

Only the candidates who cleared CA/ ICWA with 7-10 years of experience must apply. Both the criteria are mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹175,000.00 per month
