Manager G2P Operations & Governance

We are looking for a results-driven professional to lead G2P operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing government disbursement programs, driving last-mile delivery, and ensuring seamless integration between government systems and the bank’s platforms. This role will focus on operational execution, stakeholder management, financial reconciliation, and process optimization to support large-scale government payment initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. G2P Program Execution • Lead the implementation and day-to-day management of G2P programs, including benefit disbursements (e.g., cash transfers, fund mgmt., field coordination, beneficiary data mgmt. etc.). • Coordinate with public sector bodies to ensure timely fund inflow and adherence to SLAs & processes.

2. Stakeholder & Field Operations Management • Liaise with government departments, local authorities, and field partners to ensure smooth disbursements. • Supervise agent network deployment, training, and performance linked to program KPIs. • Resolve grievances and ensure proper beneficiary support through agreed disbursement channels such as campsites, retail model, ATM etc.

3. Financial & Operational Controls • Monitor reconciliation of funds between government sponsors and the bank’s systems. • Track transaction-level data, identify anomalies, and coordinate with finance and risk teams. • Ensure reporting accuracy (daily/weekly/monthly) to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

4. Compliance & Risk Management • Ensure adherence to applicable G2P regulations, SBP circulars and relevant guidelines. • Work closely with risk and compliance teams to implement robust controls and fraud mitigation protocols. • Coordinate with IT/InfoSec to ensure data protection and system security.

5. Reporting & Insights • Develop dashboards and operational reports on fund utilization, disbursement status, and grievance trends. • Provide feedback loops to program owners and government clients for continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Preferred Master’s degree in Business, Data Analytics etc.

• 4-6 years of experience in G2P operations, digital payments, financial inclusion, or public sector program delivery.

• Prior experience in banking, Payments, or similar institution is preferable.

• Strong stakeholder management skills – government, financial institutions, fintech partners.

• Proficiency in MIS, reconciliations, and data analytics tools (Excel, Reporting & dashboards etc.)

• Effective communication skills & conflict resolution

• Multitasking & time management

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-pressure, time-bound program rollouts
