Job Purpose:
The Manager – HR will be responsible for leading and managing the overall HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, payroll administration, compliance, and policy implementation. The role ensures a positive work environment, alignment with organizational goals, and adherence to labor laws and HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Selection
- Plan and execute end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
- Performance Management
- Implement performance appraisal systems and KPIs.
- Guide managers in setting goals, evaluating staff, and providing feedback.
- Training & Development
- Identify training needs through performance reviews and skill gap analysis.
- Design and implement training programs to enhance employee capability and career growth.
- Employee Relations
- Promote a positive organizational culture through communication, engagement, and conflict resolution.
- Address grievances and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies.
- Compensation & Benefits Administration
- Oversee payroll processing, attendance, and leave management.
- Ensure competitive salary structures and compliance with statutory benefits (EOBI, SESSI, etc.).
- Policy Development & Implementation
- Develop, review, and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and procedures.
- Ensure all policies align with labor laws and organizational objectives.
- HR Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain employee records and ensure legal and organizational compliance.
- Liaise with government authorities on HR-related compliance and reporting.
- Organizational Development
- Contribute to strategic HR planning and workforce forecasting.
- Support change management and organizational restructuring initiatives.
- HR Systems & Analytics
- Manage HR data systems (HRIS) and prepare regular HR dashboards and reports.
- Use data-driven insights to improve HR efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise HR staff and ensure professional development within the team.
- Foster collaboration and alignment with other departments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and payroll management.
- Experience in both policy-level HR and operational HR functions.
