Manager Inventory

Karachi, Pakistan

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient daily inventory management and stock control operations for raw materials and finished goods
  • Maintain optimized stock levels and forecast inventory needs based on business requirements
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, sales, finance, and warehouse teams to manage stock flow
  • Proactively anticipate and resolve problems and take timely corrective actions
  • Drive continuous improvement in accuracy, efficiency, error reduction, loss reduction, timeliness, and cost effectiveness
  • Prepare reconciliations and report yield, giving insights for enhancing utilization and preventing losses
  • Ensure accurate inventory records and complete documentation
  • Lead/collaborate with stakeholders for inventory inspections, audits, and compliance reporting
  • Use Oracle Fusion for inventory tracking and reporting
  • Maintain storage, loading/unloading, and dispatch in compliance with HSE and security standards
  • Ensure the team is well-trained and motivated
  • Develop a good working relationship with vendors, transporters, and other internal/external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum Graduate (specialization or certification in Supply Chain / Warehouse Management will be preferred)
  • 6+ years of experience in inventory/warehouse management and logistics in a manufacturing environment
  • At least 3 years managing a team
