Job Brief

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Team Leader for our newly formed joint venture DP World NLC Logistics. The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the operations are carried out in an accurate and efficient manner. This position involves supervising the operations team and contractual labour to meet operational and customer service standards while maintaining safety, efficiency, and inventory accuracy.

Job Description

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of warehouse staff including warehouse officers, inventory officers, forklift/MHE operators, and contract labor.
• Allocate tasks and monitor work progress to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Ensure proper staffing and efficient use of manpower and equipment during each shift.
• Monitor and improve facility Safety / Security / Environmental / Quality standards through SOPs and inspections.
• Maintain appropriate appearance/cleanliness in all locations (GMP compliance).
• Ensures operations are conducted as per the Standard Operation Procedure SOP’s.
• Coordinate with inventory officers to ensure real-time inventory accuracy and proper stock rotation.
• Support in conducting cycle counts, stock takes, and resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Escalate operational issues and provide regular updates to the AM Operations/ Warehouse Manager.
• Identify training needs for all ware-housemen and arrange trainings in liaison with relevant stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure proper hygiene and sanitization in warehouse.
• Ensure adherence to QHSE policies / procedure
• Report any incident or accident occurred in the warehouse to relevant stakeholders.
• Provide assistance in accident investigation process.

Job Specification

• Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in similar role.
