Salary Range: PKR 120,000 – 150,000 (based on experience)

About the Role:

Fulcrum, on behalf of our client in the Industrial Gases sector, is seeking a qualified and proactive Assistant Manager – Mechanical Maintenance . The role ensures the maximum reliability, efficiency, and safety of all mechanical equipment and systems within the gas separation plant and related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the mechanical maintenance team, allocate daily tasks, and ensure work quality.

• Develop and execute Preventive and Predictive Maintenance plans.

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for repetitive equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

• Oversee maintenance, overhaul, and performance testing of compressors .

• Manage inspection, cleaning, and repair of storage tanks .

• Supervise piping systems , including integrity checks, pigging, and welding repairs.

• Maintain static equipment such as separators, scrubbers, and heat exchangers .

• Troubleshoot and maintain pumps, prime movers, and utility systems .

• Support new project installations and commissioning activities.

• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and regulatory standards .

• Coordinate with Procurement for spares and maintenance services.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering from an HEC-recognized university/institute.

• 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the industrial gases or related process industry.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment .

• Proficient in reading technical drawings .

• Deep understanding of safety standards and compliance .

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Ability to lead and promote a safety-first culture within the team.
