Required Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
- Experience:
- Significant experience (8-10 years) in production planning and control within a textile or garment manufacturing environment, with specific experience in knitwear production being highly preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong Analytical Skills: The ability to interpret complex data, analyze production metrics, and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of Knitwear Processes: A deep understanding of the entire knitwear production flow, including knitting, dyeing, finishing, and cutting.
- MS Office Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis, planning, and reporting.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional Communication and Coordination: The role requires constant liaison with multiple departments, suppliers, and even customers. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively is paramount.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive and solution-oriented mindset to quickly address production bottlenecks and unexpected delays.
- Leadership and Team Management: The ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and ensure everyone is aligned with production goals.
- Organizational and Time-Management Skills: Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
