Let's give you a quick sneak peek into the life of a Manager Procurement

As a Manager Procurement, you will be responsible for managing raw materials procurement and maintaining control and accuracy over all goods inventories, including VMI for seasonal materials, procurement, planning, scheduling, cost and receiving to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time.


Things you will be doing as a Manager Procurement

  • Coordinating with Planning & production for smooth RM supply arrangement as per MPS & weekly plan
  • Identify alternate sourcing opportunities to mitigate supply chain risks and improve procurement resilience
  • Develop a seasonal buying plan and ensure compliance based on product quality and its storage
  • Identify potential partners globally & develop them as approved suppliers
  • Plan, schedule and arrange supplies as per production requirements
  • Liaison with Quality Assurance for continuous improvement & standard compliance at the vendor production facility
  • Evaluate supplier delivery reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends and use the information to proactively communicate potential late deliveries & Quality related gaps
  • Collect market insight and 10-year material trends to formulate the fiscal year AOP
  • Monitor Commodity, impacting market trends to establish insight for strategy development, execution & risk mitigation


What are we looking for in you?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Supply Chain
  • 8-10 years of experience in strategic and operational procurement of raw material ingredients
  • Knowledge of Raw Materials (Commodities market knowledge is an added advantage)
  • Negotiation & Decision-Making Skills
  • Analytical & Communication skills
