Position: Manager – Production Planning, Control & Stores

Purpose of the Position:
We are looking for an experienced Manager – Production Planning, Control & Stores to oversee end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of production and inventory operations. This role ensures customer requirements are translated into timely deliveries, optimizes resources for smooth operations. The ideal candidate will also play a key role in developing teams, managing ERP-based systems, and driving operational excellence while upholding safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through factory visits, witness tests, and timely responses to queries.
Ensure adherence to production schedules and delivery commitments.
Manage all activities related to Production Planning, Control, and Stores.
Monitor timely delivery of products, pumps, and spare parts in line with pre-sales and aftermarket schedules.
Maintain optimal inventory levels in collaboration with the materials department, minimizing costs without impacting delivery.
Develop and empower team members to manage critical functions independently.
Identify training needs, implement learning programs, and foster continuous professional growth.
Experience & Skill Requirements
Education: BSc / MSc in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 8–10 years in Production Planning, Stores, or Inbound Supply Chain
Skills:
Strong ERP/MRP knowledge (SAP mandatory)
In-depth expertise in production planning, stores, and project/shop floor processes
Cross-functional exposure across multiple departments
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills
Team supervisory/leadership experience (preferred)
