Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance systems and processes for all product categories.
  • Lead a cross-functional quality team, ensuring effective collaboration with procurement, operations, merchandising, and supply chain departments.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections across stores, warehouses, and supplier sites.
  • Oversee food safety management, hygiene standards, and compliance with local regulatory requirements (PSQCA, ISO, etc.).
  • Establish benchmarks for product quality and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage quality documentation, incident reporting, and root cause analysis for non-conformities.
  • Train and develop store-level teams to maintain consistent quality standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to enhance product quality and minimize customer complaints.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within retail, FMCG, or manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of food safety systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP) and non-food quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
