Manager Sales & BD

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential markets, industries, and clients to target for business development opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, designers, contractors, developers, and distributors.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing materials.
  • Lead the negotiation of contracts, agreements, and partnerships with clients, ensuring terms are favorable and align with company goals.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for growth.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company's products and services and expand the professional network.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, including sales pipelines, revenue forecasts, and market trends.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles, preferably in the construction materials or building industry.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop actionable plans to capitalize on them.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong leadership and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other relevant business tools.
