Role Overview

This role is an integral part of the in-house Performance Marketing team to drive scalable and sustainable organic growth. As an Organic & Content Specialist, you will own SEO, content strategy, and organic acquisition across all brands. This role demands a deep technical SEO skillset combined with AI-driven content optimization expertise, ensuring high rankings across traditional search engines as well as emerging AI-driven platforms and LLMs.

Your primary mission: Deliver organic revenue growth through data-driven SEO and content strategies, automation, and innovative approaches with respect to AI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SEO Strategy & Execution
    • Own and execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.
    • Drive organic traffic growth for primary keywords in Google, Bing, and other search ecosystems including AI.
    • Implement schema markup, structured data, and E-E-A-T principles to optimize for AI-powered search (Search Generative Experience, AI Overviews, ChatGPT plug-ins, etc.). Referring domains and backlinks.
    • Competition mapping.
  • AI & Automation Integration
    • Utilize AI tools (ChatGPT, Jasper, SurferSEO, Clearscope, etc.) for content ideation, optimization, and scaling.
    • Experiment with LLM SEO tactics: ensuring visibility in conversational AI responses (e.g., ChatGPT citations, Gemini content inclusion).
  • Content Strategy
    • Define content architecture and guidelines to align with customer journeys and conversion funnels.
    • Plan and manage a content calendar optimized for search intent and AI-powered SERP features.
  • Performance Measurement & Optimization
    • Track KPIs such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, engagement, organic conversions, revenues etc.
    • Use tools like Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SurferSEO, and AI-powered analytics tools.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Coordinate with product, creative and marketing teams to ensure content consistency.
    • Partner with Tech teams for tag implementations, utm parameters, site speed, Core Web Vitals, and structured data optimization.
  • Experimentation & A/B Testing
    • Run experiments on headlines, meta descriptions, and content formats to improve CTR and conversions.
  • AI Future-readiness
    • Stay ahead of SEO for AI Overviews, zero-click searches, and LLM content discoverability.
    • Voice Search Optimization and multimodal content strategies (text, video, image).

Technical Skills Required:

  • Advanced hands-on knowledge of overall SEO – on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, dynamic rendering, and crawlability issues.
  • Experience using AI tools for keyword clustering, content generation, and optimization.
  • Tools mastery – Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, SurferSEO, Clearscope and other evolving tools with respect to SEO.
  • Familiarity with content optimization for Search Generative Experience (SGE), Google’s AI Overviews.
  • Strong skills in GA4, Looker Studio (Data Studio) for reporting and dashboards.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, structured data, canonicalization, and Core Web Vitals.
