Manager – Technical Sales (Electrification & Projects)

Department: Sales – Electrification
Location: Islamabad / Lahore / Karachi
Reports to: Head of Sales / CEO

Electrification refers to switchgear, power distribution, motor control, drives, and industrial automation solutions.

Role Summary

The Manager – Technical Sales (Electrification & Projects) will be responsible for driving sales of electrification and power products (ABB and partner brands) across assigned territories. The role focuses on technical sales, project-based selling, channel management, and market development, while building strong relationships with consultants, contractors, distributors, OEMs, panel builders, and end customers.

This position requires a strong balance of technical understanding, customer engagement, and commercial execution.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Market Development

  • Promote and sell electrification and power product portfolios across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Develop and expand market presence through consultants, contractors, EPCs, panel builders, distributors, and OEMs.
  • Identify and pursue new projects, clients, and channel opportunities within the assigned territory.

Product & Solution Selling

  • Support customers with technical discussions, product selection, solution alignment, and site visits.
  • Deliver technical presentations and support solution-based selling aligned with customer and project needs.
  • Assist in preparation of BOQs, quotations, and technical proposals in coordination with internal teams.

Portfolio Coverage

  • Circuit Breakers: ACBs, MCCBs
  • Modular DIN Rail Devices: MCBs, RCCBs, RCDs, ELCBs, SPDs
  • Switchgear & Control: Contactors, relays
  • Switching Devices: ATS, changeover switches, disconnectors
  • Motor Control & Protection: Manual motor starters, protection devices
  • Drives & Power Equipment: VFDs, motors, generators
  • Industrial automation and control solutions (ABB & partner brands)

Performance & Coordination

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market dynamics.
  • Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, finance, and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate sales reporting, forecasts, and pipeline updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 7–8 years of experience in technical sales within the electrical, engineering, or industrial sector.
  • Strong exposure to electrification, switchgear, drives, motor control, or power products.
  • Proven experience working with projects, consultants, contractors, EPCs, panel builders, and channel partners.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driving license preferred.
  • Product training will be provided where required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs160,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
