Job Summery:

Directing and managing Hikma Egypt Treasury function and ensuring that all activities within the Treasury function are in compliance with the most updated Corporate treasury policies, as well as establishing and fostering relationships with banks and financial institutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participating in the establishment of strategies, policies and goals for the Treasury function
• Deriving and developing medium and short-term plans and executive programs to manage and achieve the Treasury function’s goals
• Monitoring the Treasury function’s performance against pre-set performance goals to ensure that progress is being made in the desirable direction and preventive/ corrective actions are taken accordingly
• Setting the estimated budget, and monitoring internal expenditures and financial performance for the Treasury function in coordination with the Finance function
• Implementing Hikma Treasury policies related to cash management and trade activities, as well as updating all policies on time to ensure obtaining the best coverage, security and rates
• Ensure that all policies implemented in the Treasury function are in compliance with Corporate policies including insurance and credit policies
• Reviewing all reports and files within Hikma Treasury function including Imports, Exports; Letters of Credit (LCs) and Bills of Collections (BCs), as well as ensuring that the collections file is updated on time
• Reviewing cheques and remittances orders
• Maintaining an adequate cash flow to ensure and effective flow of work; managing daily cash balances, as well as supervising the preparation of cash flow reports on monthly and annual basis
• Supervising Hikma Egypt Treasury Template update process, as well as ensuring its compliance with Corporate policies in this regard.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and cost efficiencies.
• Industry experience in pharmaceuticals organizations.
• Experience with multinational organizations.
• SAP user experience is a strong advantage.
