Amazon is looking for an AVS Manager to lead a team of Brand Specialists (Account Managers) within the Consumer Electronics category.
As a Manager for Amazon Vendor Services, you will be responsible for creating business impact across a large group of vendors through a team of Brand Specialists reporting to you.
Your key priorities will include improving vendor performance across critical retail metrics, ensuring vendor satisfaction with our services, and continuously enhancing your team’s productivity.
You will collaborate closely with Vendor Managers and Brand Specialists to understand vendor needs and set clear goals and targets. You will also meet Category Leaders regularly to align on strategy and support decision-making. Finally, you will contribute to driving continuous improvement and innovation within the AVS program.
You should be passionate about people management and development, resourceful, and customer-focused. You must have a proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced, dynamic business environments while effectively managing diverse stakeholder expectations.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with Vendor Managers, Account Managers, and key retail category teams to define priorities and operational goals based on vendor needs.
- Manage a team of Brand Specialists who own joint business plans for strategic vendors and deliver measurable business impact. You will be accountable for your team’s business results.
- Coach and train Brand Specialists on Amazon mechanisms, processes, tools, and business topics. As a Team Lead, develop relevant skill sets within the team and allocate resources effectively.
- Support day-to-day operations by auditing business activities and driving optimization of key business metrics.
- Regularly review performance metrics to enhance vendor experience and employee satisfaction across multiple sub-categories.
- Own business areas within your category to maximize overall category performance at scale.
- Collaborate with the MENA AVS team to shape the program by implementing scaling and efficiency initiatives that drive team productivity.
- Promote vendor adoption of Amazon programs.
- Grow and develop your team, building a strong internal talent pipeline for Amazon.
