About the Role:
The Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County is hiring Mandarin Interpreters to provide essential language access to individuals during court hearings and related proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform simultaneous, consecutive, and sight translation.
• Interpret clearly, accurately, and impartially.
• Participate in in-person and virtual sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow court ethics standards.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
• Court interpreting certification or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with legal terminology.
• Must clear background and fingerprint checks.

Schedule: Part-time and as-needed assignments.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $48.00 per hour

Experience:

• Mandarin–English interpreter in court or legal settings: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:
