Polymer Concepts Technologies PBY, Inc. KRS Division dba Kaydon Ring & Seal (“KRS”) is responsible for Aerospace and Industrial applications. KRS has a customer portfolio that includes all major players in the Aerospace and Industrial industries. Our business is fully customer focused, with products specifically designed for an engine/airframe application and then produced in small quantities and small lots on highly flexible equipment. Extreme product range fragmentation, complex product design, very high-quality standards and traceability requirements are the peculiarity of KRS.
We are looking for a Manufacturing Compliance Manager to join our team. The primary role of the Manufacturing Compliance Manager is to lead and oversee compliance initiatives across our production facilities. This role ensures that all manufacturing activities adhere to internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements—protecting product integrity, operational efficiency, and company reputation.
Duties and responsibilities are (including but not limited to):
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs aligned with applicable regulations (e.g., NADCAP, ISO9001, AS9100).
  • Monitor manufacturing operations to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and coordinate external inspections; manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Operations, Human Resources, etc.) to integrate compliance into daily processes.
  • Stay current with evolving regulatory requirements and proactively update procedures and documentation.
  • Lead training programs to educate staff on compliance policies, ethical practices, and regulatory changes.
  • Investigate compliance breaches, non-conformances, and incidents; oversee root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Prepare compliance reports and present findings to senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
Job Requirements:
  • Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Regulatory Affairs, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing compliance, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, OSHA, REACH, RoHS).
  • Experience conducting audits and managing compliance documentation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in compliance management systems and ERP platforms
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
  • Experience in aerospace industry.
  • Ability to influence organizational culture and drive continuous improvement.
