Manufacturing Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and enhancing operational efficiency within our facility. This position requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, as well as experience with various manufacturing technologies and methodologies.

Duties

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes that improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues.
• Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo for designing and modifying production layouts and tooling.
• Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to enhance automation in manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Understanding with schematics for industrial equipment and assembly line setups.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and reduce cycle times.
• Manage scheduling to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.

Skills

• CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and CAM programming.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in CNC programming and robotics.
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
• Understanding of vision inspection systems for quality control processes.
• Familiarity with industrial engineering concepts
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
