Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Marketing Communication Research Specialist to join our high-performing team. The ideal candidate is a mix of a curious researcher and a compelling storyteller, someone who can dive deep into industry trends, market data, and internal insights to create impactful content like long-form articles, case studies, whitepapers, and thought-leadership pieces. This role is perfect for someone who loves making sense of complex topics and translating them into narratives that resonate with brands, investors, policymakers, and sustainability professionals.


Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Insights

  • Conduct primary and secondary research on sustainability, ESG, EPR, circular economy, and waste-tech sectors.
  • Track policy updates (like CPCB guidelines), market movements, and competitor communication. - Identify key messaging opportunities based on brand, product, and audience insights.


Content Development

  • Create and own long-form content assets: case studies, whitepapers, founder’s notes, research reports, etc.
  • Develop data-backed storytelling that aligns with Recykal’s positioning and drives thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, sales, ESG, etc.) to convert insights into content.


Stakeholder Communication

  • Support investor decks, pitch narratives, and brand campaigns with deep research inputs
  • Assist in scripting for CXO interviews, podcasts, and keynote talks.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Economics, or related fields.
  • 2–4 years of experience in research-led content writing, preferably in ESG, sustainability, SaaS, or B2B domains.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to extract insights from data.
  • Familiarity with market research tools, databases, and policy frameworks (like CPCB, EPR, ESG standards).
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for storytelling and environmental impact.


Good to Have

  • Experience working in a startup or impact-driven organisation.
  • Previous content portfolio of whitepapers, articles, or research-based content.
  • Knowledge of SEO and content analytics.
