FamilySearch International, the largest genealogy organization in the world, is looking for a qualified intern to join our marketing analytics team. This position will report to the marketing analytics manager.

This position will support the organization by assisting in data collection, data analysis, and building marketing analytics tools and reports as needed. This position will work with multiple levels of the organization. You will work with tools like Adobe Analytics, Power BI, third party apps, and our advertising platforms.

  • This will be an internship limited to up to 1-year.
  • This position will have hybrid opportunities.
  • Qualified candidates will be expected to work no more than 40-hours a week primarily during the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Flexibility can be coordinated to accommodate for school schedules.

  • Help channel managers set goals and forecasts for new account registrations, patrons adding information to the tree, and other business KPIs.
  • Report on key metrics within campaigns and programs that are helping achieve those goals.
  • Evaluate program and campaign performance over short- and long-term periods.
  • Uncover what actions within campaigns and programs are the most valuable and which should be discontinued.
  • Communicate to channel managers, outside agencies, and the executive teams what needs to be done to increase performance.

  • Working toward or recently finished a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
  • Understanding of key metrics for social advertising, email marketing, search engine marketing, or other marketing channels.
  • Education or work experience with data analytics programs such as Power BI, Tableau, et al.
  • A strategic mind
  • Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
