About the Role

GMSS and Nauru Medical Centre is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives that enhance the centre’s visibility, strengthen its brand presence, and support patient growth and engagement across local and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the medical centre’s goals
• Strengthen brand positioning of Nauru Medical Centre across digital and offline platforms
• Plan and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, PR, and outreach programs)
• Oversee social media strategy, content creation, and online reputation management
• Conduct market research to identify patient needs, healthcare trends, and competitor activity
• Collaborate with medical and administrative teams to promote services and specialties
• Manage external agencies, media partners, and vendors
• Organize health awareness campaigns, community engagement programs, and events
• Track and analyze campaign performance using KPIs and reporting tools
• Manage marketing budget efficiently and ensure ROI on campaigns
• Support recruitment marketing for international healthcare professionals when required

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing (healthcare experience strongly preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and healthcare communication
• Proven experience in campaign management and strategic planning
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural and remote island healthcare environment
• Experience in international recruitment marketing is an advantage
