Marketing & IT Specialist

Job Summary: Pierce Powerline Co. is seeking a dynamic and detailed-oriented Marketing & IT Specialist to support both our marketing initiatives and internal technology operations. The dual- role position is ideal for a versatile professional who can manage digital branding efforts while also supporting IT systems and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, and comfortable working in small business environment where adaptability and initiative are essential.

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and update company websites to ensure accurate, engaging, and current information.
  • Manage all company social media presence across all platforms, including content planning, posting, monitoring, and engagement.
  • Design and distribute company flyers, brochures, and other marketing materials.
  • Oversee brand management, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and visuals across all channels.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and paid advertising.
  • Conduct market research to identify consumer needs, trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Brainstorm, plan, and implement creative marketing campaigns that align with company goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate promotional events and campaigns.
  • Create original content (graphics, blogs, newsletters, videos, etc.) that resonates with target audiences.
  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, and engagement.
  • Adapt strategies quickly based on results and shifting company needs.
  • Undertake individual tasks of the marketing plan as assigned.

IT Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update company intranet systems to support internal communication and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Work directly with Local Vector and other IT vendors to resolve system issues, coordinate service requests, and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Assist with basic network, hardware, and software troubleshooting for employees.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding by setting up deactivating user accounts, devices, and system access.
  • Maintain technology inventory including laptops, mobile devices, and other company equipment.
  • Ensure data security protocols and software updates are consistently implemented.
  • Provide basic training to staff on internal systems and digital tools as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Marketing, IT support, or a hybrid role.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and analytical tools.
  • Hands-on experience with social media platforms, digital advertising, and SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency with marketing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CRM systems, and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, etc.).
  • Knowledge of web design tools and basic coding (HTML, CSS; WordPress or Dreamweaver experience a plus).
  • Strong graphic design and content creation skills.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced, small-company environment.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills with a creative mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,000.00 - $94,000.00 per year
