Founded in 2018, Luminary Nail Systems was built by Chris and Kelly VanDahl on a simple premise: nail technicians needed reliable products that actually performed. The lineup is intentional and tightly curated — developed from real professional experience, not market trends. Seven years in, we sell internationally, have a loyal and growing customer base, an active educator network, and techniques that have become recognized industry standards. We're as invested in elevating the profession as we are in the products–and we're just getting started.
The Opportunity
The ideal candidate will strategize and execute across the brand's voice, campaigns, communications, content, and public-facing assets in partnership with agencies, creators, and consultants.
What You'll Do
Brand Own and protect Luminary's voice everywhere it shows up — social, email, product storytelling, customer communications, and partner-facing materials. You'll develop the brand asset library and shape positioning in close collaboration with our leadership team.
Content & Social Lead content strategy and execution across our social platforms. You'll drive ideation, manage creator relationships, oversee scheduling, and occasionally contribute to content directly — across reels, carousels, community features, and whatever the moment calls for.
Email & SMS Own campaigns and automated flows from strategy through reporting. You think about email in terms of revenue, not just opens.
Affiliate, Influencer & Distributor Programs Manage and grow affiliate and influencer relationships — with a focus on nail educators and authentic voices in the professional space. Serve as a key communications touchpoint for our distributor network, keeping partners informed, engaged, and connected to the brand.
Web & E-Commerce Partner with our team and external developers to maintain brand voice and storytelling across the site — product pages, collection copy, launch moments, and refinements as the brand evolves.
Customer Experience Ensure brand voice carries through consistently across every customer-facing touchpoint.
What We're Looking For
Benefits & Compensation
Salary range is $65,000–$75,000 based on experience. We offer medical, dental, and vision coverage, company-paid life insurance, and two weeks of paid time off. You'll work directly alongside leadership — your contributions are visible, your impact is real, and there's genuine room to grow with the company as we scale.
