Position Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, creative, and data-driven Marketing Manager to lead brand growth in the fitness space. This role will own the execution of multi-channel marketing strategies, with a strong focus on direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales, social media engagement, and community building. The ideal candidate understands fitness culture, stays ahead of digital trends, and can translate brand vision into high-performing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Campaign Management
- Develop and execute comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing plans aligned with company goals.
- Build and manage a detailed marketing calendar featuring promotions, product launches, and seasonal fitness themes (e.g., New Year goals, summer shred, holiday wellness)
- Align campaigns with business objectives, product releases, and industry trends
Budget Management
- Develop, manage, and allocate the marketing budget across channels
- Track ROI and key performance metrics to ensure efficient spend
- Own and manage the advertising budget across all channels
- Allocate spend efficiently to maximize ROI and meet revenue goals
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies based on data insights and business priorities.
Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) & eCommerce
- Oversee direct-to-consumer (DTC) web sales strategies to drive traffic, conversion, and revenue
- Drive online sales through the company’s website by optimizing marketing funnels
- Collaborate with web and creative teams to improve user experience and conversion rates
- Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and site performance to inform strategy
Email Marketing
- Plan and execute email campaigns including promotions, product launches, and automated customer lifecycle flows.
- Segment audiences to deliver personalized, high-converting messaging
- Track and optimize performance (open rates, CTR, revenue per campaign)
Social Media Management
- Develop and Lead content strategy and daily execution across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook
- Create engaging, fitness-focused content that drives brand awareness and community growth
- Stay on top of fitness and social trends to keep content fresh and relevant
Influencer & Content Creator Management
- Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with fitness influencers, trainers, and creators
- Coordinate campaigns, negotiate partnerships, and oversee deliverables
- Track performance metrics and ROI for influencer collaborations
Content Development & Brand Execution
- Partner with designers, videographers, and creators to produce high-quality visual content
- Ensure consistent brand voice, messaging, and aesthetic across all platforms
- Oversee campaign execution from concept through analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 3–7+ years of marketing experience, preferably in fitness, wellness, or DTC brands
- Strong understanding of fitness industry trends, audiences, and culture
- Proven experience managing marketing budgets and multi-channel campaigns
- Hands-on experience with social media platforms and email marketing tools
- Experience working with influencers and content creators
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify)
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., Klaviyo, HubSpot, Drip)
- Knowledge of paid social and digital advertising
- Passion for fitness, health, and active lifestyle
