Job Description

Marketing & Communications Support

  • Coordinate and execute marketing initiatives that support university, college, and departmental goals.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and traditional media.

  • Ensure all marketing materials align with brand standards, voice, and visual identity.

Content Creation & Management

  • Draft, edit, and proofread marketing content including website copy, email campaigns, social media posts, promotional materials, and advertisements.

  • Coordinate content calendars and assist with social media scheduling and monitoring.

  • Collect content, photos, and information from campus partners to support marketing deliverables.

Digital & Web Support

  • Assist with website content updates and basic content management system (CMS) tasks.

  • Support email marketing efforts and basic analytics tracking.

  • Monitor engagement metrics and assist with reporting on campaign performance.

Project Coordination

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned marketing projects.

  • Coordinate timelines, approvals, and deliverables with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

  • Assist with vendor coordination related to printing, advertising, photography, or design services.

Events & Promotions

  • Support marketing efforts for campus events, recruitment initiatives, and major university activities.

  • Assist with promotional planning, material development, and on-site coordination as needed.

Administrative & Collaborative Support

  • Maintain organized records of projects, assets, and campaign materials.

  • Collaborate with enrollment, academic, and administrative units to support strategic objectives.

  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of university marketing priorities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.

  • Three years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related area.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Basic Photography skill

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in higher education, nonprofit, or public sector marketing.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic analytics.

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS).

  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse campus stakeholders.
