We’re now looking for an in-house Marketing Manager to take ownership of how we show up in the market—and more importantly—how we generate and convert demand.
The Role
This is not a “manage the socials” marketing job.
This is a build, own, and optimize revenue-generating marketing engine role.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Driving qualified pipeline (MQL → SQL → revenue)
- Owning brand positioning and market differentiation
- Leading strategy across digital, content, events, and partner marketing
- Working hand-in-hand with Sales to ensure marketing actually converts
You will not be handed a perfectly built machine.You will help design it, refine it, and scale it.
What You’ll Own
Pipeline & Demand Generation
- Build and execute campaigns that generate consistent MQL flow
- Optimize conversion rates across the funnel (traffic → lead → meeting → deal)
- Partner with Sales to align messaging, targeting, and follow-up
Positioning & Messaging
- Sharpen ValorTech’s voice in the MSP space (clear, differentiated, confident)
- Translate technical services into compelling, outcome-driven messaging
- Ensure consistency across all channels
Digital & Content Strategy
- Own website performance, SEO, and conversion optimization
- Develop high-impact content (case studies, thought leadership, videos/photos, etc)
- Oversee paid media and organic growth strategies
CRM & Marketing Operations
- Leverage HubSpot (our CRM) to build workflows, nurture sequences, and reporting
- Establish clean attribution and performance tracking
- Continuously refine based on data—not guesswork
Events, Community & Partnerships
- Drive strategy for industry events, conferences, and local engagement
- Support partner/channel marketing initiatives
- Build brand presence in key verticals (healthcare, finance, manufacturing, etc.)
Team & Vendor Leadership
- Manage external partners (agencies, freelancers, tools)
- Build internal structure as the function scales
- Bring accountability, clarity, and execution discipline
What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)
- MQL flow moves from inconsistent → predictable and scalable
- Clear alignment between Marketing and Sales (no finger-pointing)
- Stronger brand presence in target verticals
- Improved conversion rates across campaigns
- Marketing is seen as a revenue driver, not a cost center
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have:
- 5–10+ years in marketing, with direct MSP/IT service experience
- Proven track record of driving pipeline and revenue, not just activity
- Strong understanding of B2B buying cycles, especially in IT
- Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation (HubSpot preferred)
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically
