Role Overview

The Marketplace Experience Lead is responsible for shaping and elevating the overall talent experience — ensuring that every talent engaging with the marketplace feels supported, empowered, and set up for success from the very beginning of their journey.

This role owns the end-to-end early talent lifecycle , from pre-application awareness to onboarding and initial job performance. The Lead will identify and address friction points across touchpoints, collaborating with Product, Operations, and Enablement teams to implement improvements that drive satisfaction, engagement, and performance.


A core responsibility is to own and improve the Early Life NPS , translating talent feedback into actionable insights and systemic enhancements. The role also involves hands-on engagement — guiding and supporting talents in their early stages to ensure confidence, readiness, and high-quality outcomes.

Ultimately, the Marketplace Experience Lead acts as the voice and advocate of talent , building a feedback-driven ecosystem that transforms experience into a competitive advantage for the marketplace.



Key Responsibilities

  • Owning the talent experience before applying and in the early talent journey
  • Identify product improvement opportunities to ensure best talent experience
  • Work across multiple teams to identify the gaps in the processes that impacts the talent experience
  • Talent handholding on their initial stages to help them perform better in their jobs
  • Own the talent early life NPS


Experience & Qualifications:

  • Prior working experience owning and improving Talent NPS in tech start-ups/marketplaces
  • Good communication & stakeholder management skills
  • Prior experience in mapping out supply/talent journey
  • Good grip on sales force, Jira, Hubspot, etc.
  • Handholding talents during their early life on the marketplace
  • Building and owning the talent support function - core focus on early life churn
