What You'll Do:

As a Material Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within the organization. You will work closely with procurement, maintenance, and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels, prevent shortages or excesses, and support smooth workflow across departments.


What We're Looking For:

  • Material and Service Coordination: Review work orders, identify needed materials and services, and determine their availability from internal and external sources.
  • Communication: Inform relevant stakeholders about the availability of materials and services and address any potential deficiencies.
  • Work Order Management: Update work order need dates and select appropriate transport methods based on priority.
  • Requisition Management: Submit Requisitions for standard materials using preferred vendors and gather quotes for non-standard materials, submitting them to procurement for ordering.
  • Material Staging and Tracking: Stage required materials. Confirm service provider availability, and track delivery progress, expediting as necessary.
  • Documentation: Update material status in SAP, communicate updates to relevant stakeholders, and update Bill of Materials.
  • Teamwork and Additional Responsibilities: Actively collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and maintain a positive work environment. In addition to core responsibilities, assist with other assignments as directed by the work process leader.

Skills That Make a Difference:

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited school.
  • Knowledge of SAP/CMMS requisition system and store inventory master systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare reports to support decision-making.
