About the role:
We are looking for an experienced resource in our Planning & Warehousing department to communicate effectively with the operations, warehouse, quality, and production planning. Managing the end-to-end import cycle of Direct and Indirect material — from order placement and LC establishment to customs clearance. The role involves freight forwarding coordination, CNF/FOB cost analysis, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery.
Role Responsibilities:
Manage SAP MRP to ensure material availability, accurate master data, and timely PO release to suppliers.Coordinate material changes, new components, and control processes with SMEs within defined timelines.
Plan and optimize shipment routing (air/sea), container utilization, and consolidation to balance cost, lead time, and service levels.
Oversee import logistics, ensuring regulatory compliance, smooth material flow, and adherence to operational requirements.
Manage HS codes, SRO utilization, IOCO quotas, and duty optimization to leverage cost benefits.
Handle import-related financial arrangements including LCs, advance payments, guarantees, and PSW processes with Treasury/Finance.
Coordinate DRAP, MOFA, Customs, and other regulatory documentation needed for import licenses and clearances.
Drive efficiency in port clearance operations to reduce demurrage, detention, and storage costs by coordinating with clearing and shipping partners.
Maintain complete, auditable import and inventory records, support month-end reporting, and ensure accurate cost booking.
Support materials management projects, CAPA closures, inventory control, and continuous improvements aligned with business needs.
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business or relevant disciplines.
Minimum 3 years of direct production material planning/procurement experience in a pharmaceutical environment preferred.
Deep knowledge of Purchasing and Procurement systems
