Material Planning Engineer

Perfetti Van Melle, one of the largest multinational companies in the confectionary market, owner of leading local and global brands like Vivident, Mentos, Chupa Chups or Big Babol would like to employ Material Planning Engineer.

Responsibilities;

• Placing purchase orders to the suppliers.
• Calling materials from the suppliers according to the needed list communicated by the production planning unit.
• Ensuring that the purchase orders at the suppliers are produced on time and kept ready to be shipped at the supplier inventory.
• Ensuring that the suppliers are preparing and sending the needed order documents properly according to the procedures of accounting and warehouse departments.
• Sharing materials resource planning (MRP) results and following up with all suppliers.
• Communicating corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to suppliers and following up the solutions.
• Controlling the invoices of all imported materials.
• Evaluating supplier performance and give prompt feedback to the suppliers accordingly.

Qualifications required for this position are as follows;

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial, Chemical)
• 2-3 years experience in Supply Chain, especially in Purchasing-Procurement
• Good command of written and verbal English,
• Good command of MS Office (SAP knowledge is an asset),
• Good communication and negotiation skills,
• Analytical and problem solving skills,
• Residing in İstanbul European side,
