Job Purpose
The Senior Financial Analyst – MDM is responsible for managing and overseeing the operation of one or more processes within P2P Tower. Ensuring all tasks are completed timely and accurately in a strong control environment. The role helps to deliver the Finance vision of a “world class finance function recognized by industry, the profession and our people” which underpins the GSK vision. The MDM Processor is responsible for executing vendor master data operations with precision and timeliness, ensuring compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and the ICFW framework. This role plays a critical part in maintaining data integrity, supporting vendor lifecycle management, and driving operational excellence through effective stakeholder engagement and process optimization
Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in related field (Business, Finance) OR part qualified CA / ACCA / CMA or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in a Finance role with a focus on any one or more fixed assets and master data management.
Proficiency in SAP, Concur
Proficient within Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience working for pharma/biotech company preferred
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Master Data Management
Process new vendor/supplier creation and maintenance requests in ERP systems accurately and within defined timelines.
Ensure all requests comply with internal policies, SOX regulations, and control frameworks.
Maintain high standards of data quality and integrity across vendor records.
Compliance & Controls
Perform monthly control activities in alignment with the ICFW framework.
Escalate unresolved issues promptly to ensure risk mitigation and compliance.
Support audit requirements and documentation related to vendor master data.
Operational Execution
Utilize ServiceNow (SNOW) for efficient ticket handling, stakeholder coordination, and resolution.
Daily processing of requests to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Independently resolve vendor master related queries and discrepancies to ensure smooth operations.
Stakeholder Engagement
Provide timely updates on process status, participate in KPI reporting and address critical issues.
Establish and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
Respond to vendor master queries with professionalism and accuracy.
Process Improvement & Documentation
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Periodically review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect current practices.
Support the leadership team with ad hoc tasks and strategic initiatives.
Team Collaboration & Training
Train and support team members on daily tasks and system processes as required.
Share best practices and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
