Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a perfume manufacturing company in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule daily assigned maintenance work orders, ensuring availability of required materials and equipment.
• Design, implement, and maintain Preventive Maintenance Schedules (PMS) for all machines.
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical and pneumatic systems, including valves, actuators, and automated equipment used in perfume manufacturing, filling, and packaging.
• Ensure smooth operation of machinery by performing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines in accordance with diagrams, manuals, manufacturer instructions, and engineering specifications.
• Diagnose mechanical issues by observing equipment in operation, listening for abnormal sounds, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Dismantle machinery to remove and replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, and appropriate hand and power tools.
• Inspect used components to identify wear and determine changes in dimensional or functional requirements.
• Adjust and align functional parts and control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Control and minimize downtime by implementing effective preventive maintenance practices and ensuring compliance by production teams
• Fabricate or modify repair parts using machine shop tools and equipment when required.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, spare parts, and maintenance supplies by monitoring stock levels and ensuring timely procurement
• Optimize use of maintenance resources, tools, and consumables to achieve efficient job results
• Provide technical and mechanical maintenance support by responding to queries and maintenance requests.
• Prepare detailed mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data, trends, and equipment performance.
• Ensure proper documentation and communication across work teams to maintain operational continuity.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment by adhering to company procedures and safety regulations.
• Contribute to team objectives and support overall plant performance as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience
• Willing to commute or relocate to Dubai
