Mechanical lab manager

Job Summary

EXPERIENCED Mechanical Lab Manager to oversee metallurgical testing and analysis. Candidate must have expertise in:

Mechanical Testing
Tensile, Bend, Shear, Compression and Flexural
Impact — Charpy or Izod
Hardness – Rockwell, Brinell, Micro & Portables

Non-destructive testing

Failure analysis.

A welding background would be a plus:

welding procedure development
& qualification
Develop welding procedure specification–WPS

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical lab projects from initiation to completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Oversee laboratory procedures and techniques related to mechanical and metallurgical lab.

Skills

• Strong understanding of metallurgical laboratory testing and management practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
