About the Position

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support maintenance activities in our refractory manufacturing plant. The role involves handling preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and ensuring smooth operation of equipment.

The candidate should be hands-on, sincere, and willing to work in a plant environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment

Attend machine breakdowns and restore equipment in minimum time

Maintenance of kilns, dryers, mixers, presses, crushers, conveyors, and other production machinery

Monitor equipment condition, alignment, and lubrication

Support installation and commissioning of new machines

Maintain daily maintenance records and reports

Coordinate with production team for shutdown and planned maintenance

Ensure safe maintenance practices and proper use of tools

Coordinate with stores for availability of required spares

Required Skills & Knowledge

Basic knowledge of mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing plant

Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics systems

Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals

Experience in heavy industries like refractory, cement, steel, ceramics, or similar will be preferred

Willingness to work in shifts as per plant requirement
