TBM Mechanical Systems Management
aSupervise installation, commissioning, and operation of TBM mechanical components (cutterhead, screw conveyor, slurry pumps, erector, gantries).
bMonitor performance of mechanical systems and ensure optimal functioning during excavation.
cCoordinate with OEM representatives for troubleshooting and specialized repairs.
dPerform and Monitor Cutterhead intervention in hyperbaric as well as normal mode

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
aDevelop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for TBM and backup systems.
bDiagnose and resolve mechanical failures promptly to minimize downtime.
cMaintain inventory of critical spares and consumables.

Slurry Circuit & Auxiliary Equipment
aOversee slurry pumps, pipelines, valves, and pressure systems.
bEnsure proper functioning of mucking systems, segment handling equipment, and gantries.
cCoordinate with Slurry treatment plant team for slurry flow and pressure requirements.
aEnforce mechanical safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
bEnsure compliance with confined space and high-pressure system safety standards.
cConduct toolbox talks and training for mechanical crew.

Documentation & Reporting
aMaintain records of inspections, maintenance, and breakdowns.
bPrepare daily and weekly reports on machine performance and downtime analysis.
cTrack mechanical KPIs and implement improvement plans.

Team Leadership & Coordination
aLead a team of mechanical engineers, foremen, and technicians.
bCoordinate with civil, electrical, Slurry treatment plant, and survey teams for smooth TBM operations.
cProvide technical training and mentorship to mechanical staff.
