SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As a Mechatronic Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining company assets in line with industry best practices and manufacturers’ recommendations to ensure optimal equipment reliability and performance. You will carry out maintenance activities in compliance with local, regional, segment, and Group standards, with a strong focus on Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements, objectives, and guidelines.

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is based in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities:
  • Execute electrical and mechanical maintenance activities in accordance with approved standards, procedures, and work permits to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient execution.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records by registering work order data, updating the Maintenance Management System, and contributing to preventive maintenance plans, standard jobs, and spare-parts lists.
  • Support the safe and reliable operation of production equipment and site assets, including participation in root cause analysis for recurring or critical equipment failures.
  • Support engineering and commissioning activities for new or modified assets, including preparation and review of electrical and mechanical documentation in line with HSEQ and engineering standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors and consultants to ensure work quality, compliance with safety requirements, and adherence to agreed timelines
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
We are looking for a candidate who:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
  • Fluency in English – both verbal and written
  • Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Circuit (PLC) systems, including basic programming and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and competent in using computers and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
