MEDICATION TECHNICIAN

Location: 2820 Old Moultrie RD, Saint Augustine, FL 32086

CORAL LANDING is seeking a compassionate and dependable technician to join our team.

Schedule: Currently looking for Med Tech 10pm to 6am full time with rotating weekends.

Summary: Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to, performing and coordinating a variety of level of care. While working under the supervision of management the following tasks are expected.

· Medication must be completed within a 2-hour time frame (1hr before and 1hr after)

· Maintain accurate and complete personal care sheets (such as ADL book, midnight census, and assignment sheets)

· Immediately report any change in resident conditions including incidents and reports

· Always make the resident feel comfortable

· Inventory med cart

· Always answer calls promptly

· Make rounds throughout the shift

· Perform unscheduled tasks as requested by management

· Attend in service classes and on the job training programs Develop and maintain a good working environment with residents and co workers

· Follow work schedule. All requests off must be turned in 2 weeks prior to schedule being posted.

Maintain confidentiality of all resident information to assure all residents rights are protected.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must have Med Tech Certificate.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• Prior experience in healthcare preferred.
• Experience with medical software and equipment preferred but not required.

Pay: $16.00 - $16.75 per hour
