Job Title: Media Operations Specialist

Function: Marketing / Media

Reports To: Media Lead

Location: Karachi Head Office

Job Purpose

The Media Operations Specialist will manage end-to-end operational processes for media activities, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and timely execution. This includes PO creation, financial reconciliation, vendor onboarding , and coordination across multiple functions beyond Media (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Procurement).

Key Responsibilities:

Financial & Administrative Operations

  • Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) for media campaigns and related activities.
  • Ensure accurate financial closing, reconciliation of media spends, and timely reporting.
  • Monitor compliance with internal financial policies and audit requirements.


Vendor Management

  • Facilitate vendor onboarding, including documentation, contract compliance, and NDA execution.
  • Maintain updated vendor records and ensure adherence to company standards.


Contracting & Compliance

  • Support the renewal or creation of agency contracts for digital, OOH, and other media partners.
  • Ensure all agreements comply with legal and procurement guidelines.


Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as the operational link between Media, Finance, and other business units.
  • Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to resolve operational bottlenecks.


Process Optimisation

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Implement best practices for tracking, reporting, and compliance.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Working understanding of media planning and buying processes.
  • Proficiency in financial systems (SAP, or equivalent) and PO management.
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of contracting, compliance, and vendor governance.
  • Ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple priorities.


Preferred Experience:

  • 2-4 years in media operations, finance, or marketing support roles.
  • Familiarity with digital and traditional media ecosystems.
  • Experience in agency coordination and procurement processes.
