Medical Assistant/ Aesthetician
The Medical Assistant/ Aesthetician position is responsible for the care & treatment of our patients. Your responsibilities will include performing skin analysis consultations, performing aesthetician treatments, developing and teaching skin care from our service and product line. You will also serve our providers by preparing patients for examination, assist in procedures and perform a variety of patient and clinic care tasks under the supervision of a licensed health care provider. Duties range widely from administrative to clinical.
Skills, abilities and requirements:
- Warmly greet and welcome patients.
- Cleaning, organizing, stocking/restocking and maintaining exam rooms for clinical, cosmetic and aesthetician procedures and assisting providers during exams with patient care.
- Take accurate patient before-and-after photos according to office standards.
- Real time documentation including but not limited to taking medical histories, recording patients' chief complaint and documenting provider evaluation notes of visit in patients chart.
- Confer with patients about their aesthetic objectives, analyze skin type, coordinate care with providers and create an appropriate treatment plan and at-home skincare routine
- Provide education to patients regarding procedure to be performed you and/or recommended by our providers as well as the products that will be used during procedures
- Perform aesthetic services including: customized facial treatments, chemical peels, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, microneedling, brow waxing and tinting, and other treatments as trained and approved.
- Maintain ongoing communication and consistent follow-up with current and prospective patients.
- Maintain patient privacy and adhering to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines at all times.
- Proper and compliant electronic documentation of clinical and service notes.
- Mastery-level knowledge of our private label and additional product line(s).
- Maintain and self-audit standard of care and licensing boards regulations are regularly met and consistently maintained.
- Various marketing, promotional, cosmetic event and PR duties.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, detail oriented, dependable and focused.
- Professional presence appropriate to a medical office setting.

Qualifications:
Must be a Licensed aesthetician, original license must be posted in office.
Education:
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Compensation:
Competitive hourly compensation based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may be available based on performance and clinic goals.
Schedule:
- Day shifts, Monday–Friday
- Occasional day shifts on Saturdays as needed
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position operates primarily in a professional office/clinical environment. The role regularly requires standing, sitting, working at a computer, communicating with employees, managers, physicians, patients, and walking throughout the day. There are no regular lifting requirements beyond standard office/ practice materials. The work environment is typical of a medical practice setting.
