Job Title: Medical Records Specialist (Virtual Assistant)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records Specialist (VA) to support our personal injury legal team. The specialist will handle medical record and billing statement requests from healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate documentation for ongoing cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and send HIPAA-compliant medical record requests.
• Follow up with hospitals, clinics, and insurance companies to secure records.
• Review, organize, and upload medical documents into the case management system.
• Maintain a tracking log to monitor pending and completed medical record requests.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with personal injury legal terminology (preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple requests and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Prior experience in a law firm or healthcare administration role is a plus.

Work Schedule: U.S. business hours

Salary: 50000 – 100000 per month (based on experience)
