MEP Draftsman

Position: Mechanical Draftsman

Location: Dubai, UAE

Industry: Consultancy / Engineering / High-Rise Buildings

Experience: 8+ years

Availability: Preferred Ready to Join / Immediate joiners preferred

Requirements:

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit MEP, Navisworks, or BIM tools is a plus).
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant mechanical design tools.
• Experience in Auto CAD drafting for HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire protection and LPG systems (experience in Electrical is a plus).
• Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably high-rise building projects in the GCC region.
• Familiar with international and local authority standards such as ASME, ISO, ANSI, SMACNA, ASHRAE, NFPA, DEWA, DM etc.).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire protection and LPG systems.
• Experience with Dubai authority approvals (DEWA, DM, DDA, DCD, etc.) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire protection and LPG systems.
• Prepare accurate detailed drawings and layouts as per standards and requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with project specifications, authority regulations, industry standards and codes.
• Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and other discipline to ensure designs meet technical requirements.
• Maintain and update drawing records, documentation and backups for future reference.
