MEP Draftsman

Job Summary:

We are seeking two skilled MEP Draftsmen with 5 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and designs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. This role involves ensuring that the designs meet project specifications, local regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) system drawings, including layout plans, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
• Coordinate with the engineering team to understand the project scope and technical requirements.
• Ensure that all drawings are produced accurately, adhering to project specifications and local regulations.
• Modify and revise existing drawings as needed based on project requirements or feedback.
• Assist in creating MEP design concepts and layouts for new projects.
• Review and ensure the accuracy of technical data, material specifications, and related information in the drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other project teams to ensure that MEP systems integrate properly with other building systems.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide support to the construction team by clarifying drawing details and resolving technical issues on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards in MEP design.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and their integration into building projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality technical drawings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
