MEP Draftsman Electrical

Job Summary
The MEP Electrical Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed electrical drawings for building projects, including power, lighting, low-current systems, and earthing layouts, in coordination with MEP engineers and other disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD / Revit MEP
• Develop drawings for lighting, power, single-line diagrams, earthing, and ELV systems
• Coordinate electrical drawings with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural drawings
• Interpret design drawings, specifications, and BOQs to produce accurate technical drawings
• Revise drawings based on consultant/client comments and site requirements
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local authority codes, and standards
• Assist engineers with design development and material submittals
• Maintain organized drawing records and document control
• Support site teams with updated drawings and technical clarifications

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering or Drafting
• 2–5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in MEP projects in UAE
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit MEP is an advantage)
• Good knowledge of electrical systems in buildings
• Familiar with international and local electrical standards
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Good communication and coordination skills

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
