Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems across multiple projects.
- Review and verify MEP drawings, BOQs, and specifications to ensure compliance with design standards and project requirements.
- Coordinate between architectural, structural, and interior teams for integrated design and installation.
- Supervise site execution for MEP works ensuring adherence to schedule, quality, and safety norms.
- Evaluate and approve materials, vendors, and subcontractors for MEP components.
- Conduct regular site inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Ensure adherence to energy efficiency, sustainability, and safety standards in system design and implementation.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for approvals, progress reports, and compliance certifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during execution.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and government authorities for necessary clearances.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, fire-fighting, and plumbing networks.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office tools.
- Understanding of relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Postgraduate qualification in MEP / Project Management is an added advantage.
- Having experience of 5-8 years
Preferred Background:
- Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, or industrial projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple MEP packages simultaneously.
- Exposure to green building or energy-efficient design will be a plus.
