MEP Estimation Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Unitek General Contracting LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Estimation Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for MEP projects within the UAE construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for MEP projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine project scope.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and evaluate commercial proposals.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, and engineering teams during the tendering process.
• Assist in preparing technical and commercial bid submissions.
• Monitor market rates and maintain an updated database of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure all estimates are completed accurately and within specified deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of UAE experience in MEP estimation within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, quantity take-offs, and tendering procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software/tools.
• Ability to analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• UAE Driving License preferred.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
