MEP Procurement Engineer

We are seeking a qualified MEP Procurement Engineer to manage all procurement activities related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP)systems.
This role requires a strong understanding of UAE market dynamics, vendor sourcing, and compliance with local regulations.
he ideal candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications, MEP drawings, and BOQs to determine procurement needs.
• repair, float, and manage RFQs/RFPs for suppliers and subcontractors in the UAE and internationally.
• Evaluate vendor quotations technically and commercially; prepare comparison sheets and recommendations.
• Negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, delivery timelines, and compliance with contract terms.
• Liaise with engineering, planning, and site teams to align procurement schedules with project timelines.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues related to delays or non-conformance.
• Contract Management: Administer supplier contracts and agreements, ensuring they meet both short-term needs and long-term strategic goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a purchasing role, specifically within the MEP
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of MEP materials, technical specifications, and the local supplier market.
• Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
