A Merchant Management Specialist for a Point of Sale (POS) campaign focuses on building and strengthening relationships with retail merchants, managing their operations within the campaign, and ensuring their success through strategic implementation of POS initiatives. Key responsibilities include monitoring sales performance and campaign execution, providing training and support, and ensuring compliance with company policies and agreements to drive sales and satisfaction for both merchants and customers. Key Responsibilities
- Merchant Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for merchants, fostering strong, strategic partnerships and addressing all business-related inquiries and issues.
- Campaign Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with merchants to implement sales and marketing strategies, including promotions and advertising, to meet campaign objectives and drive revenue.
- Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to merchant sales and campaign performance, identifying trends and providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Operational Support: Provide guidance on the effective use of POS systems and platforms, troubleshooting technical and operational issues to ensure a seamless merchant experience.
- Training & Best Practices: Conduct regular training sessions for merchants and their staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products, promotions, and customer service best practices.
- Compliance: Ensure that merchants adhere to company policies, procedures, and contractual agreements, maintaining a high standard of brand representation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as sales, marketing, and finance to address merchant needs and ensure the successful execution of POS campaigns.
